This week was a milestone. I attended the Salesforce World Tour and the Agentforce Technical Workshop with Salesforce. For the first time, We Lead Out had a visible presence in both spaces. It was exciting, emotional and affirming.

I left those rooms not just with business cards and ideas, but with something far more meaningful, connection, clarity and confidence. It made me reflect on why being in the room matters, even for people like me who don't naturally seek it out.

Showing Up, Even When It’s Uncomfortable

People often assume I’m outgoing and thrive in these kinds of events, but the truth is, I find this kind of networking quite difficult. I love working from home, and I get most of my energy from building quietly, not from talking in crowded rooms.

But what I’ve come to realise is that being in the room isn’t about being extroverted. It’s about showing up with curiosity and openness, even when it takes effort. It’s about letting yourself be seen, and seeing others in return. That’s what creates momentum.

When You Share, You Refine

I spoke about We Lead Out’s mission and platform dozens of times across both events. It helped me sharpen the language, but more importantly, it helped me see how it lands with others.

Some of the feedback I received:

“It’s exciting to see someone challenging the traditional bloated consulting model in a more progressive way.”

“The types of workflows you’re building feel really modern. It’s great to see agents being used in meaningful ways within the Salesforce ecosystem.”

That kind of response helps validate the direction we’re taking, not because it’s unique, but because it’s resonant.

The Ecosystem is Alive

The Salesforce ecosystem is full of generous people who care deeply about doing better work. The Agentforce technical workshop gave me the chance to connect with builders and operators who are asking the same kinds of questions. It reminded me that we’re not alone, and that innovation happens faster when we share ideas openly.

You can’t always predict which conversation will spark something new. But you need to be in the room for it to happen.

Personal Thanks

A huge thanks to everyone who shared a perspective, asked a hard question or offered encouragement. And to Chris — thank you for being my anchor, my sounding board and my reminder to keep showing up.

So What Now?

We Lead Out is just getting started. But we’re building with momentum, clarity and a community of people who believe there’s a better way to solve problems.

If you’ve been holding back from sharing your idea or waiting for permission to try something different, consider this your invitation.

Being in the room changes everything.

Let’s lead out, together.
